History

Bestway Hydraulics began in 1968 as a manufacturer of hydraulic motorcycle lifts. Nearly every motorcycle manufacturer has installed our lifts at their facilities and they are used in dealerships all over the country. This unique lift helped us develop a niche to grow upon. And grow we did. We began manufacturing cylinders for industrial mixing applications, power companies, chemical processing plants, painting and coating industries, food processing, etc. Our cylinders quickly became accepted as among the best and most affordable available.

Since 1992 our company has quadrupled in size, expanding both its manufacturing and engineering capabilities in the process. From our 6000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Compton, CA, we are presently expanding our manufacturing plant to 10,000 sq. ft. in order to meet the rising demand for our products. In spite of this growth, we remain a family owned and operated business with all the personal touches that come with dealing with a small company.

We take great pride in stating that every company that has done business with us since 1992 continues to do business with us today. In this age of high stake competition we believe this says a lot about how we do business. We believe customer service is more than just taking orders. When everything goes right almost any company can handle the job. However; when difficulties arise, deadlines must be met, and designs must be developed and agreed upon, very few companies stand tall. We can provide design and engineering assistance, technical support and promotional support to stand taller than the rest.
